The following accompanying events will be organized during the Congress:
Opening Ceremony
- Sunday, 7 June 2015
- 18:00–20:00
- Venue: Prague Congress Centre
- Price: Free for all registered participants
- Opening Ceremony programme available here.
Held in the Congress Hall, the Opening Ceremony is open to all registred participants. Prof. Marc Remacle, CEORL-HNS President, shall begin the evening with a welcome speech. Immediately afterwards, the “MEDAL OF MERIT” are to be presented.
Prof. Jan Betka, Congress President, shall deliver an unusual lecture titled, ”Geniality and deafness of Bedřich Smetana”, about one of the most famous Czech composers accompanied with samples of Smetana’s work. The Hradec Kralové Philharmonic Orchestra led by conductor Leoš Svárovský shall also perform the highlight of the evening, Antonín Dvořák's New World Symphony. Join us for these unforgettable moments.
Welcome Cocktail

- Price: Free for all registered participants, appetizers and drinks included
The Welcome Cocktail is being organized as a very informal event, held directly at the congress venue after the Opening Ceremony. This allows everyone to register on-site, pick-up your congress materials, explore the exhibition and meet your colleagues in a relaxing atmosphere while enjoying a selection of appetizers. The Welcome Cocktail is to take place on the second floor of the venue with a beautiful view of Prague’s historical centre and the Prague Castle.
Presidential Dinner

- The Presidential Dinner is taking place at the Prague Castle and is upon invitation only (tickets shall be checked at the entrance).

Closing Ceremony
- Thursday, June 11, 2015
- 13:15–13:45
- Venue: Meeting Hall I, Prague Congress Centre
- Price: Free to all registered participants
After all the events have been held and all the lectures have been presented, the Closing Ceremony closes the congress with some interesting facts and figures. The best posters are to be presented.And last but not least the destination of the next CEORL-HNS congress to be held in 2019 will be announced. Join us in Meeting Hall I and say goodbye to your new and old colleagues.
