Prague Congress Centre

The 3rd congress of CE-ORL-HNS will be held at the Prague Congress Centre (PCC) which is one of the modern architectural landmarks of Prague and the largest convention and culture centre in the Czech Republic.

Its location is very practical, being easily accessible from the city centre by underground or motorway. It has its own metro station and extensive parking facilities. 

The Prague Congress Centre is situated in a unique location with a beautiful panoramic view of Prague with its large parks, the Vltava River and Prague Castle.

A project for the third millennium, the Prague Congress Centre is fitted with high-quality equipment in terms of audiovisual technology, air-conditioning, energy connections and communications, ISDN data links, GSM and modern hall technologies. The quality of these amenities ensures that the Prague Congress Centre complies with required international standards.

How to Reach the Prague Congress Centre

The Prague Congress Centre can be easily reached by metro line C (red line) to the station „VYŠEHRAD“, the PCC is located just in front of the metro station. Tickets can be purchased in automatic machines at each metro station or at news stands. The ticket costs 24/32 Czech crowns (approx. 1/1.3 EUR) and is valid for 30/90 minutes. Please note that you need to mark the ticket when you enter the metro/tram/bus for the first time.

• From the Airport

The distance from the Prague-Ruzyne International Airport is 15 kilometers and 28 Airlines provide 150–200 international arrivals daily. A taxi ride from the air­port to the Prague Congress Centre will take approximately 30–45 minutes and costs about 25 EUR. You can also travel by public transport. Go by bus No. 119 to the underground station „Dejvická“ and carry on to the station „Museum“. Then change to line C and go to the station „Vyšehrad“. The PCC is just next to this station. You will need to buy a ticket for 32 CZK for this journey.

• From the city centre

There is a north-south highway just in front of the PCC and the PCC itself is very easily accessible by taking the underground to “Vyšehrad” station, metro line “C”.
