Poster preparation

Please note

Any poster that is to be presented at the 3rd Congress of European ORL-HNS must be accompanied by a registered author. No poster will be accepted for display without a minimum of one author registered for the congress.

Poster boards

The dimensions of the poster boards are as follows:
Size of the panel (i.e. the max. size of the poster): 180 cm (height) x 97cm (width)

  • The panel is covered from both sides by a grey carpet.
  • To ensure good legibility of the poster, we recommend a maximum size of 95 cm (37.40 inches) in width and 100 cm (39.40 inches) in length.
  • Fixing material (stickers) will be available in the posters area.
  • Congress staff will be available to assist you during the time of poster mounting.
  • The poster boards will be numbered by the organizers.

Useful info before printing poster

The lettering of the poster heading should be at least 2.5 cm high. Detailed information should be provided in a smaller type, but remember that your text must be easily readable from distances of at least 1 meter.

As you know, an effective poster should in fact be self-explanatory. Therefore, a good structure in background, aims, methods, results and conclusions with short subtitles and a clear focus only on the most important aspects of your study is essential. The key message should be easy to read and to recall for the observers passing by.

Please check your spelling before printing the final poster version.
